Newsies' Dashing Dancers Spiff Up to Receive Actors’ Equity Outstanding Chorus Award

The charming boys of Newsies surely cleaned up well when the talented cast showed up to receive a coveted award from Actors’ Equity Association award on November 27. The pape-slingin’ ensemble received AEA’s sixth annual Advisory Committee on Chorus Affairs Award for Outstanding Broadway Chorus, the only accolade of its kind dedicated to the chorus members of a Broadway musical. The award went to the 22 men and three women who appeared in the ensemble on opening night in March 2012. All these months (and a few Tony wins) later, this talented crew is still racking up the awards—now that’s enough for a headline!
